An Introducing Broker (IB) is a person or entity that introduces clients to a broker in exchange for a commission. IBs can be individuals, companies, or organizations that refer clients to a broker and earn a fee based on the trading activity of those clients.

In Metal CFD trading, you start by choosing the metal you want to trade, such as gold or silver. You then decide whether you think the price will go up (buy/long) or down (sell/short). After opening a position, you’ll monitor the market conditions.

When you’re ready to close the trade, you do so at the current market price. The profit or loss is the difference between the opening and closing prices, multiplied by the number of units you traded.

Trading Metal CFDs offers several advantages:

  • Leverage: You can trade with a small initial investment but control a larger position.
  • Flexibility: Trade 24/5 and take advantage of both rising and falling markets.
  • Diversification: Add different metals to your portfolio for risk management.
  • No Ownership: Since you don’t own the physical metal, there are no storage costs or security concerns.

While Metal CFD trading can be profitable, it’s not without risks:

  • Leverage Risk: High leverage can amplify losses.
  • Market Risk: Prices can be volatile and unpredictable.
  • Overnight Risk: Holding positions overnight may result in additional costs.
  • Liquidity Risk: In some market conditions, you may find it difficult to open or close positions.

Yes, beginners can trade Metal CFDs, but it’s essential to start with proper education and a risk management strategy. Many brokers offer demo accounts where you can practice trading with virtual funds. It’s also advisable to start with a small investment and gradually increase your exposure as you gain experience.

To start trading CFDs for precious metal assets such as gold, silver or platinum, you just need a CFD trading account with Blue Suisse.
